The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Voice Anger Regarding Size Updates
Members of the platform have expressed outrage due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has updated its size classifications for women's and children's garments but did not contact every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
They have suggested members to check their listings and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Modifications
Before the change, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, from Derby, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update to the app has proved unpopular: previously, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods following member complaints.
